I have been revamping my house (surprise surprise) and I've been really really good about getting rid of all the clutter and excess stuff I have, and let me tell you, less is defiantly more!! I'm always constantly changing different areas in the house, replacing items, or just completely starting over and redecorating the whole room! I haven't done much in my living room so I decided to revamp it. I've been eyeing this ladder bookshelf for the LONGEST time, but felt that I needed to sell/get rid of my side tables that are next to my couch FIRST before I add more clutter. (I'm not a hoarder so that makes total sense right?!) I was able to sell a set of mirrored side tables pictured below, then I repurchased NEW mirrored side tables, and then I finally decided to let them go and get a bookshelf to organize all my frames while adding more space to the room since I wont have clutter with the two side tables on each end of the couch!

As for my bookcase, you can find this anywhere. I purchased a white finish because it matches the whole theme of my house, in which I now painted grey and white. You can get this anywhere from Target, the container store, Walmart, all nearly over $100 but I found this off amazon for $60 with free shipping (that's always a plus!) You should be able to find it under "ladder bookcase". Prices often change on amazon with these, so it's going to be a hit or miss between $60-$100. You put it together yourself; It was pretty easy minus my back and knee aches that I have been having :(
This is what it looks like from the side angle. As you can see, each shelf is a different size as it goes from small to large. The "ladder" itself leans against the wall and needs the support in order for the shelfs to stay straight so make sure you use a "level" per shelf when you screw in the nails!
I couldn't decide where to put the bookshelf, so I ended up putting it on the other side of my couch because I had more room to put some boxes on the floor beside it. Plus the natural lighting that shines down onto the bookcase makes the glitter damask wallpaper blend in so well together :)
Also, a great way to hide clutter are these boxes I got from Michaels craft store and TjMaxx! In all 5 of these boxes, I was able to put all my DVDs that I have left, So it's easy to grab quick while being fashionably hiden lol.
And here's a side angle of the bookcase. I just put some frames, candles, and photo albums for now, so it won't look empty but I will defiantly be at TjMaxx this weekend to find some cute decor for the shelves!
